1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing our website, or requesting any service through Meet Colombia, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the platform. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using Meet Colombia, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Description of Services

Meet Colombia is a travel services platform that connects visitors to Medellín, Colombia with local service providers. Through our platform, you may browse, request, and coordinate services including personal drivers, chefs, local ambassadors, security services, language lessons, cleaning, tours, and events.

Meet Colombia acts as a liaison and booking coordination platform. We facilitate connections between travelers and service providers but do not directly provide the listed services ourselves. All services are delivered by independent local providers as described in Section 4.

3. Booking & Payments

Service requests are submitted through our platform and coordinated via email. Meet Colombia does not currently process payments directly through the website. Payment terms, methods, and schedules are arranged between you and the service provider.

By submitting a booking request, you are expressing interest in a service and agreeing to be contacted by email to coordinate details. A booking request does not constitute a confirmed reservation until both you and the service provider have agreed on the terms, schedule, and price.

Meet Colombia is not a party to any transaction between you and a service provider. We do not collect, hold, or process any payments and are not responsible for payment disputes between users and providers.

4. Service Providers

All service providers listed on Meet Colombia are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Meet Colombia. Service providers operate their own businesses and are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and delivery of their services.

Meet Colombia does not guarantee the performance, qualifications, or conduct of any service provider. While we strive to feature reputable and reliable providers, we do not conduct background checks, license verification, or ongoing supervision unless explicitly stated.

Any disputes, claims, or issues arising from services provided by independent contractors must be resolved directly between you and the service provider.

5. User Responsibilities

By using Meet Colombia, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not use the platform for any unlawful or harmful purpose
• Treat all service providers with respect
• Comply with all applicable laws while in Colombia
• Not misrepresent your identity or intentions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these responsibilities at our sole discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

Meet Colombia provides the platform "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meet Colombia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or services obtained through it.

Meet Colombia does not assume responsibility for the safety, quality, or outcome of any service provided by independent contractors. Users engage service providers at their own risk.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100.00).

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by individual service providers. Meet Colombia does not set, enforce, or guarantee any cancellation or refund terms. You should confirm cancellation policies directly with your service provider before confirming a booking.

Since Meet Colombia does not process payments, we cannot issue refunds. Any refund requests must be directed to the service provider.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on meetcolombia.com is the property of Meet Colombia or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia.

10. Changes to These Terms

Meet Colombia reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
